Unit 9: Exploring Photography And Digital Imaging

In completing this unit, I would able to create, transform, edit and store images from different sources, such as cameras and the Internet, focusing on digital techniques. After completing this unit I think I am able to choose images for specific purposes and audiences and evaluate the presentation of digitally edited images.
The formal assessment consisted of:
·        Evidence of pre-manipulated images
·        An exhibition of my completed work
·        Feedback of completed productions from the audience
For this unit there were three briefs, as we had to take photographs and create images for three different purposes. We used the digital stills cameras and we were also allowed to find photographs from other sources. We created the final images using Adobe Photoshop. We had to take photographs ourself and had to find photographs which we can use to create final images for an exhibition which illustrates the relationships between the media industries and their audiences.
In total we created 18 images, 3 for each of the following media industries:
·        Television
·        Radio
·        Cinema
·        Print
·        New Media
·        Advertising
